Shoutbox
Below you will see the new Balto's True Story live chat shoutbox! This is a service for all forum members and visitors to the main site. However, while guests can view the chat, only those who register may post. Sorry, gang. I simply must do that much in order to keep out any potential trolls and cyberbullies (and they're out there). Plus, this makes it easier for me to keep track of and moderate the chat and those who post in it. Registration is easy, and you can access that (and chat smileys) by simply pressing the "+" button in the applet window below. (Sorry though...as far as I know, registered members cannot establish avatars for themselves...though I will be looking into that shortly. However, a nice feature of this shoutbox is that there is no need to manually refresh it everytime you wish to see new postings. This box auto-refreshes itself, apparently, six times every minute!)
Enjoy, and please follow the common sense rules of decorum and diplomacy! This shoutbox can also be viewed at the bottom of every page on the forum, and registered members can post there as well! The shoutbox window is synched from both locations in real time! (Please note, also, that the most recent postings appear at the top of the chat space. The oldest at the bottom.)
